Mine has the opposite. 11pro on ios16. Since last night its been stuck on 77% and ive been using it a lot. After a reset it went up to 82% but dropped quickly to 79% and now its stayed like that for an hour. just hit control f and search up pixel 6 pro or 14 pro. after looking through settings and just switching them to options that will save battery life, you will see results of between 8-12 hours of screen on time. if you dont change any settings and leave all settings at default, you will have 4-6 hours of screen on time. The iPhone 12 has fine battery life, that’s about it though. iPhone 11 series was the king of battery life. The battery life of the 12 is actually my only gripe with it, tbh. It’s not super bad, but it’s a 5-7 hour screen-on time device for the most part. Hopefully the iPhone 13 goes back to the iPhone 11’s battery longevity. How about thinking this way, 11 pro max has about 20% higher battery capacity than Xs max (3969mah vs 3180) So now your battery is still basically better than brand new Xs max which had arguably the best battery life in iPhone before 11pro max. I seem to be having a different experience to most and am getting fantastic battery life, that is also getting a little better as the days go on. 120hz, QHD+, dark mode, auto brightness but trained toward the brighter end. Sits around half brightness in a normally lit room. Getting between 6.5 and 8 hours screen on time. In 2 years I was down to 83% battery capacity and I got the 12 Pro on launch and the battery life is fantastic. 8:30a - 5:00p and I'm at 73%. The Xs was ever good to begin with and it even lost a fair amount of battery tests to the X at launch. The X itself worse than the 8 plus. iOS 15 update caused my battery's health to drop from 93% to 90% in a week. Even with most apps uninstalled (Spotify, IG, etc) a fully charged battery at night on Low Power Mode loses 20% by morning on standby. This is the worst update I've ever had land on my iPhone 11 Pro.
